A REJOINDER IN DEFENSE OF INTEGRITY: The Unshakable Resolve Of Senator Ireti Heebah Kingibe

When a leader’s light burns too brightly for the corridors of power, shadows conspire to dim it. Today, we rise to dismantle the orchestrated campaign of calumny against Distinguished Senator Ireti Heebah Kingibe, the voice of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and to reaffirm why her unwavering integrity terrifies the merchants of corruption.  

The Anatomy Of A Smeared Campaign

Recent attempts to tarnish Senator Kingibe’s reputation through baseless and unfounded accusations, manufactured scandals, and unverified unethical publications, are not merely political tactics. *They are proof of her potency.* When a woman of pedigree, principle, and unparalleled public devotion becomes the target of elite wrath, it is because she refuses to bow to their corrupt machinery and evil transactions.  

LET US BE UNEQUIVOCAL:

- Her "crime" is accountability. 

- Her "offense" is loving the people more than power.

- Her "sin" is rejecting the transactional politics that poisons our democracy. 

Those intimidated by her resolve are the very forces that have long exploited the FCT. Land grabbers, demolition enablers, and equity deniers. Their panic is her validation.  

THE PEDIGREE THEY CANNOT ERASE 

Senator Kingibe is no ordinary politician. She is:  

- A Daughter of Service: Raised in a family steeped in nation-building and married to statesman Baba Gana Kingibe, she embodies Nigeria’s finest traditions of public sacrifice.  

- An Engineer of Progress: Trained at the University of Minnesota (USA), she brings precision, planning, and proof-based governance to a landscape drowning in empty rhetoric.  

- The People’s Architect: Her promise to donate her *entire salary* to FCT’s rural clinics and schools shames the greed of career accumulators.  

Her critics, devoid of such credentials, resort to the only tool they possess: character assassination.

The Courage They Cannot Break 

While others trade principles for patronage, Senator Kingibe stands unbent:  

- She fights illegal demolitions a means of displacing the poor.  

- She exposes elite land seizures meant for public housing.  

- She amplifies the cries of Nyanya, Kuje, and Bwari communities abandoned by the very leaders sworn to serve them.  

HER  DEFIANCE COMES AT A COST:

- She is isolated in committee rooms.  

- She is smeared in sponsored media.  

- She is vilified by those whose corruption she threatens.  

Yet, like a diamond forged under pressure, she only grows harder in her resolve.

THE TRUTH THEY CANNOT SUPPRESS 

Let the record show:  

1. She is called "Mama of the FCT" not by PR consultants, but by market women, farmers, and students who see her as their shield.  

2. Her endorsements come from the grassroots: From various communities such as the Igala community’s Excellence Award for rural solar projects, The Igbo Communities award of Excellent Leadership to the gratitude of mothers whose children now access healthcare.  

3. Her loyalty is to the constitution, and not to the cartels.

Meanwhile, her detractors offer no developmental blueprints, but only bile. 

OUR  STAND: The People’s Mandate Is Sacred

WE DECLARE AS FOLLOWS:

- Blackmail will not silence her.  

- Intimidation will not bend her.

- Propaganda will not erase her legacy.  

Senator Kingibe represents the FCT’s conscience. Her "stubbornness" is the stubbornness of truth. Her "radicalism" is the radicalism of justice.  

TO THE PEOPLE OF ABUJA: Your senator fights for you because she is you. Her voice in the Red Chamber is your voice. Her courage is your armor.  

TO THE POLITICAL MACHINES: Your fear of her integrity only reveals your moral bankruptcy. Therefore, be reminded that the era of unchallenged exploitation is over.  

FINAL WORD: "When they attack the warrior, it is because they fear the war she wages for the weak. Senator Ireti Kingibe, an engineer, a mother and a revolutionary is the FCT’s immune system against the virus of corruption and bad governance. 

Therefore, We shall continue to stand with her. And surely, history shall vindicate her."
